If you are taking your dog to the beach in Torbay, please remember to pick up after it. Although most dog owners are very responsible and do pick up after their pets, a small minority of people choose to ignore the rules.
Although some of Torbay’s beaches are cleaned by the tide, that is not an excuse for failing to pick up after a dog, and the law does apply to beaches as well as other public spaces.
Please remember that in Torbay bagged dog faeces can be disposed of in a designated red dog bin or a standard public litter bin.
