Anstey's Cove

Anstey’s cove nestles between high cliffs and a thickly wooded hillside and is operated by the Torbay Coast & Countryside Trust. This is a perfect base for walks along the coastal paths, leading to Hopes Nose, affording impressive views across the bay.
Anstey’s Cove is situated between Babbacombe and Torquay near to the Palace Hotel.  There is convenient parking in a car park at the top of the steep path that leads down to the beach.

Type:Shingle/Rock and cliffs with restricted access via a steep path.
Disabled Access:Difficult with a steep slope and steps, although there is a hand rail.
Dogs:Allowed
Safety:Lifebuoys
Facilities:Parking ¼ mile from beach. Promenade with cafe and toilet facilities.
Car Park:Pay and disaply car park over 5 minutes walk from the beach across a road with disabled visitors' spaces.
Surrounding Area:Wildlife Reserve
